Babcock & Wilcox (B&W), an industry leader in boiler technology since the late 1800s, faces business challenges directly related to the design complexity in meeting unique customer requirements. B&W selected a new 3D CAD system, SolidWorks, and RuleStream as its RPM solution to replace its homegrown KBE systems. B&W worked with RuleStream to tie its software to 3D CAD and PLM.
